Ya desde hace décadas se veía venir la banalización en cierto tipo de prensa. Muy buena.
Before Rashmomon, Kurosawa managed to fit in this small, personal movie about the effect a media witchhunt has on a prominent lawyer and, in particular, his family. Based on a story which a stranger apparently related to the director in a bar, its cautionary commentary on journalistic ethics is topical to this day, showing how the small matter of personal privacy should never get in the way of a good story. Anybody contemplating a tabloid career should watch this movie.
