O eso han creído a bien concluir la National Board of Review, o lo que es lo mismo: la asociación de críticos norteamericanos. Tras los Gotham Awards y las nominaciones a los Independent Spirit, los suyos son los primeros premios de relevancia para el cine comercial. Sin ser los premios más sorprendentes de la historia, sí acumulan un buen puñado de sus decisiones que nos han alegrado este viernes.

A saber: el reconocimiento a obras maestras como "La cinta blanca" (último y seminal Haneke), "Tres monos" (obra maestra de Ceylan disponible en breve en filmin) , "The cove" (el "Man on wire" de esta temporada) y "La nana" (la sensación del año). Y, como no, por el reconocimiento de tres obras maestras que ya descubrimos en el Festival de Berlín: "The messenger" ("El cazador" siglo XXI), "In the loop" (estreno hoy en cines) y "An education" (la película romántica de 2010).
