Primero fue Jeffrey Wells, amo y señor del blog Hollywood Elsewhere, ahora ha llegado el turno de indieWire, web de referencia para todo aquel que rueda películas con menos de 10 millones de dólares. Uno y otro se han aventurado a pronosticar quiénes pueden ser los candidatos a los Oscar de 2011. Sean quienes sean los afrotunados, hoy en filmin sólo tenemos un deseo para esos próximos premios: que su gala sea menos aburrida que la de este año. Superarse es difícil, empeorarla sigue siendo posible.

La gran mayoría de películas aquí listadas están en fase de post-producción, algunas podrán verse en el Festival de Cannes, otras llegarán a tiempo para el de Toronto y las más rezagadas lo harán a pocas semanas de que se acabe el año. Los grandes directores que estrenan film en 2010 son apuestas más o menos seguras: Clint Eastwood, Christopher Nolan, los hermanos Coen, Terrence Malick, Peter Weir, Sofia Coppola, Alejandro Iñárritu, Darren Aronofski... muchos hombres y una sola mujer, ¿repetirá Sofia Coppola el camino de Kathryn Bigelow? Hoy, nadie sabe nada.
